I added a video card for two screens from my desktop but its know not picking up my orgianl video card HELP?

If I understand your situation correctly

You were using on board graphics to drive your monitor, and you wanted to use a second (additional) monitor - for which you bought a graphics card.

Alas, it is not possible to drive monitors simultaneously from both on board graphics and a graphics card. Only one may be selected (in the Bios), selection may be automatic, so that the graphics card will be used if detected.

In order to use two monitors you require a single graphics card which has two outputs.

A splitter cable would enable only cloned (identical) displays.

Leads exist which enable VGA signals to be provided via USB - don't go there, a new card with two outputs could be had for the same price.

A PCI nVidia 8400GS or a Radeon HD3450 can be had for under £28 from Scan... If you have only AGP, the GeForce 6200 will set you back £32.78

Two outputs: I'm talking about VGA and/or DVI - S-video and HDMI are not suitable for connection to standard monitors.

You may require a DVI-I to VGA converter (about £5) if neither monitor has a DVI connector...|||one card will be AGP the other SCI the primary monitor should be on agp if problems scan for new hardware and reinstall drivers, unless both SLI connected together check all are connected correctly and enable multiple desktops in display settings/control panel
