i have a fairly old desktop pc, and i want to attempt to play city of heros on it, i realise this may require some upgrades. I was wondering if anyone knows what video card is best, potentially what sound card is best and how i install them? And the expected prices? please anwser using basic terms and id be very grateful if you could include some pictures of what i need. id like to thank anyone who reads this question for your consideration.|||Go for geForce Card in card og Graphics and Creative Sound card. To install it disable the onboard card on the MB and then install the new card.

Buy accordingly.|||when looking at graphics cards the memory is the last thing to think about.
check the core speed and the amount of pixel pipelines.
you also need to know the which interface you have it is either agp4/8X or pci express or the really old version pci, look carefully you don't want to buy a graphics card with the wrong interface|||If you are serious enough to buy a new graphics card then buy the best one i.e. ATI Radeon. While buying any new video card, just check the size of the memory that it offers. More the memory, better is the card. Then there are bridge connectors too that can be plugged in to join 2 separate video cards(only if you want to buy another one).
