Where can i get a video card for a laptop?

They dont have them at best buy, office depot, radio shack. I have tried google but i only come up for desktop pc. any sites-places anyone?|||As long as your GPU isn't integrated into your motherboard, you need to order the part from your system manufacturer. If you replace it with an OEM model you'll have problems since the GPU isn't specifically licensed /certified for use with your system - neither are the drivers. This is a widespread and common mistake by many users across the globe, and many others who sell parts take advantage of that fact.

Go to your system manufacturer's website, and download the manual for your system - all manuals have a parts list breakdown with the manufacturer's part number. Find the number for your GPU, then check the Support site again for parts ordering information, then enter your GPU's part number to find out if it is still available as an FRU (Field Replaceable Unit).

If you've got an HP notebook the process is simple. Getting the Part # is easy from HP's Partsurfer: http://www.partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi…

All you need to do then is enter it at the HP Parts Ordering site: http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/|||u can't up-grade ur card if it is bad get with who ever made ur comp and have a new one installed|||Can't. They're soldered directly to the motherboard.|||There is a place i go to it is called JB-hi fi it is good with stuff like that or you can try dick smith. hope this helps|||buy a desktop|||The thing about laptop is that it is usually difficult to find spare parts for computer fixes and upgrades. Maybe you should try visiting the site of your computer brand. Maybe you could place a special order or something.
