The best card is the one with the most on-board RAM for the least amount of cash.
The DDR (speed) is secondary as it is not noticeable except for video frame rates (possible flickering in high end games).
So, get the cheapest that does the 'mostest'.
;-)|||If you want better performance and smoother gaming then go with the amd hd 6970 a high rated graphic card for gaming and xfx is a good known brand i guess you have a good 750 watt psu a known name brand|||xfx, they have better customer support and im not certain but I think their heatsinks work better and they are clocked higher, I'm a nvidia guy sorry I couldn't be of more help|||Get the HD 6970 2GB and Cross-Fire later with another HD 6970 2GB.
