Video card for emachines?

I have an emachines desktop that I bought in late 06 it's a Tsomething, don't remember the exact numbers. I am trying to find a good video card, I bought one a geforce 256mb but after only a week it blew. what would be a good video card for this type of computer?|||You would have to check if it uses PCI- Express x16 (most common), AGP (x2,4,8, older computers) or PCI- Express x1. If none of those are available, then you could go to a PCI (not very good, limited transfer rate). I would check on the web site to see the tech specs of your computer to see which one is available.
