Which Video/Graphics card would you suggest for my Desktop Computer?

I dont know much about Video/Graphics cards. I would like something powerful enough to play high end graphics games. If I could get some basic information about both, and a suggestion on which ones could be suggested that would be great! Desktop Types - Premium|||your processor is going to eventually hold you back, like even with a gtx 485 you'll never be able to max crysis because it will bottleneck your video card. try looking at a gts 250, gtx 260, gtx 275, all made by nvidia- or a 4870 from ATI.

by the way, i can't actually tell by you just saying II if its a dual core, triple core, or quad core- so i am assuming its a dual core.

however much you are willing to spend then my friend as long as your case is long enough. for example the gtx 260 is about 11 inch long I believe. A gtx 260 could max any game with ease, don't go for the best that will be out dated in 2 months.
