I bought sims 3 for my desktop and my pc does not the right video card?

how would i kno which video card is compatible with my desktop and will it work for sims 3|||we need to know what the specs of your old pc, i would recommend a ati or a nvidia card with 512mb of video memory , 1-2 gb of ram 2gb will be better and a cpu with at least 2.0 ghz or higher|||i had this problem too. on the back of the box in really small print haha it lists the system requirements and it lists the video cards it needs. i wasnt sure what my computer had and if you dont either i would call someone who knows about computers and could easily tell what you need. I did that and a guy came in and told us what to get, bought it for me and installed it.
